Orcas on the wild!

Resident orcas were spotted splashing things around earlier this week. Perhaps in celebration of a newborn that join their ranks lately? It was reported last December that another calf had been spotted along the coast bringing the total number of new calves this year to eight. A number that has not been seen since 1977 when nine calves were recorded. The news is well received by the whale watching community as anticipation grows over what is expected to be another record tourist season.
